Amendment to Urban Plan. Various Areas Around des Sources and Saint-Jean Boulevards, and Anselme-Lavigne Street: the OCPM Will Now Hear the Comments of the Public

Montréal, January 8, 2004 – Starting Wednesday, January 21, the Office de consultation publique de Montréal (OCPM) will hear individual citizens and organizations who wish to express their opinions and views on the draft by-law to amend the urban plan of the former municipality of Dollard-des-Ormeaux.

OBJECT OF CONSULTATION
This draft by-law aims to redefine the designations of certain areas around Saint-Jean and des Sources Boulevards, Anselme-Lavigne Street, and around Lake Street and De Salaberry Boulevard. It proposes 8 amendments to the land use plan.

On December 15 and 16, the OCPM held the fist part of the public consultation with two information sessions. As announced at the session on December 16, the second part of the consultation, where the commission will accept memoranda and hear people and organizations, will be held at the Dollard-des-Ormeaux Civic Center, 12001 De Salaberry Boulevard, Reception Hall, room 026 (Entrance via the municipal library), at 7 p.m.

All persons and organizations wishing to present a brief in the second part of the meeting are invited to send it before January 15, to the Office de consultation publique de Montréal in 15 printed copies and by e-mail to Mr. Luc Doray at: ldoray@ville.montreal.qc.ca.
